After a successful season which brought about many new stars for the Nor'Easter it is now the off season. The Nor'Easter suffered a devastating loss in the 2nd round of the Harvest Bowl Tournament. They left the game with their heads high and nothing to be ashamed of. OFF SEASON HAPPENINGS....
As many ppl know my niece Cassie Zousoumas passed away a little over a year ago. There is a scholarship set up in her name. We would like for this to be a reoccuring scholarship. In order for it to be this we need to have a certain amount of money in the Fund by a certain date. We have not yet reached are goal. My family will be holding a benefit dance with all proceeds going towards Cassies Scholarship. It will be held on Sat. March 19,2005 at the Mt Pleasant Golf Club in Lowell Ma (99 Staples St.) Tickets will be 10 dollars. Even if you can not attend purchasing a ticket would be greatly appreciated, or if you would like make a donation to the Scholarship itself. When I was thinking of a way to show my love for the Noreasters, I wasn't sure what to do. For the past five years I have had the privelege of being a part of what I feel is the greatest organization in the world, wheather it be professional sports, semi-pro sports, or whatever, I fell that not many organizations have their type of desire. Not only does this team seem unbeatable on the field, they also have an unbrakable brotherhood off the field. These guys are one big happy family, and the best part of it is they have adopted their fans into this family. Many sports teams don't respect their fans, and these guys do. I myself have been fortunate enough to be able to spend time with and get to know these guys, they've become my family away from my family. Thats why I decided to put this page together, to let them know that their fans do appreciate what they do for us and that the fans are proud to call them theirs. I felt that the Noreasters need to know that the fans do care for them and will always be proud of them and be their for them no matter what. So with this being said I dedicate this page to you, the Lowell Noreasters "THE BEST DAMN SPORTS TEAM AROUND".
